AI Governance Architect
Design AI governance and model-risk programs for clients aligning to the NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act.
About the role
AI Governance Architects help large enterprises put AI into production responsibly. You will design governance frameworks and model-risk programs, build model inventories and AI supply-chain controls, and map evidence to the NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who can move fluidly between a CISO's office and an ML team's standup, translating regulation into controls engineers will actually adopt.
Key Responsibilities
- Design AI governance frameworks and model-risk programs
- Build model inventories and AI supply-chain controls
- Map evidence to NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act obligations
- Advise executives on AI risk, policy, and prioritization
- Lead AI governance transformation for large enterprises
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years in security, risk, or governance roles
- Deep familiarity with the NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act
- Experience with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 control mapping
- Strong executive communication and facilitation skills
Nice to have
- CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent governance certifications
- Experience in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, public sector)
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001 AI management systems
